J - visa
You qualify for a J-1 exchange visitor visa if you fall under
one of the following categories: student, scholar, trainee, teacher,
professor, research assistant, medical graduate, international visitor
and are participating in a approved study, research, or cultural
enrichment program. In order to pick up the J-1 visa at the United
States Embassy/Consulate one needs an DS 2019 form. Several host
organisations are authorized to issue the DS 2019 form. VisaVersa

Sufficient knowledge of English is required to effectively participate
