Skilled – Nominated

This category is for people who are under the age of 50 and have obtained a positive skills assessment from a designated relevant assessing authority in Australia for their qualifications in an occupation on the Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL)  – Schedules 1 and 2- but are unable to meet the Skilled Independent Requirements. They must be nominated by an Australian state /territory or eligible relative above the age of 18 (child, parent, sibling, aunt/uncle or cousin).

People who are eligible for this program must meet the English language proficiency requirements and obtain a minimum amount of 60 points (passmark) for selection factors such as age, English language proficiency, education level, skilled work experience and partner qualifications etc. Five extra points are awarded to applicants with a state/territory nomination.
