Het is een sticker die wordt afgegeven door de Nederlandse vertegenwoordiging in het land van herkomst (of bestendig verblijf). Veel vreemdelingen die langer dan drie maanden in Nederland willen verblijven hebben een MVV nodig.<\/p> <!-- lead font -->\n\t\t\t\t    \n\t\t\t\t    <p><p>MVV-plichtige vreemdelingen kunnen gebruik maken van de TEV (Toelating en Verblijf) procedure. Dit houdt in dat met \u00e9\u00e9n procedure zowel een MVV als een verblijfsvergunning voor de vreemdeling kan worden aangevraagd.<\/p><p>De referent (een Nederlandse werkgever of familielid) vraagt een MVV aan door een aanvraag in te dienen bij de Immigratie \u2013 en Naturalisatie Dienst (IND). Als de aanvraag positief is beoordeeld, ontvangt de vreemdeling toestemming om naar Nederland te komen. De vreemdeling haalt binnen 3 maanden de MVV op bij de eerder opgegeven Nederlandse vertegenwoordiging.<\/p><p>Het paspoort van de vreemdeling moet nog minimaal 6 maanden geldig zijn op de dag dat de MVV erin wordt geplaatst. Bij het ophalen van de mvv moet de vreemdeling ook biometrische gegevens afstaan, een recente pasfoto meenemen, zijn\/haar handtekening zetten en vingerafdrukken geven. Na afgifte van de MVV moet de vreemdeling binnen de gestelde termijn naar Nederland reizen.<\/p><\/p> <!-- description -->\n\t\t\t\t    \n\t\t\t\t     <!-- list style -->\n\n\t\t\t\t\t <!-- Button
